Intelligent Commercial Surveying & Mapping Solution
I. Solution Overview
Efficient, Precise and Safe Full-Scenario 3D Data Acquisition Expert
To overcome the limitations of traditional surveying and mapping methods in complex terrain adaptability, operation efficiency, data dimensions and personnel safety, this solution takes Micbot’s high-performance all-terrain robot as the core carrier, deeply integrating high-precision positioning and attitude determination, multi-sensor integration and intelligent path planning technologies. It builds a mobile mapping system featuring all-terrain accessibility, full-element acquisition and full-process intelligence, providing efficient, accurate and safe 3D spatial data services for urban planning, engineering construction, digital twin and other fields.
1. All-Terrain High-Precision Mobile Chassis
With outstanding terrain traversal capability, the wheel-legged chassis can easily cross 40cm vertical obstacles, climb 45° slopes, and stably pass through grass, mud, gravel, stairs and unpaved roads. It reaches mountainous areas, forests, dams, construction sites, ruins and indoor environments that are inaccessible to traditional surveying vehicles and personnel, greatly expanding the boundaries of surveying operations.
As a stable and reliable operation platform, the high-strength lightweight body provides up to 400kg of static load capacity, offering a stable and shock-absorbing mobile platform for various high-precision surveying sensors. With IP67 high protection and a wide operating temperature range (-40°C ~ 85°C), it ensures continuous and stable operation in rain, snow, dust, high and low temperature environments.
Integrating GNSS RTK, laser SLAM, visual odometry and inertial navigation, the robot achieves dynamic centimeter-level positioning accuracy. With high-precision path tracking algorithms, it strictly follows preset survey lines to ensure planned and consistent data acquisition.
2. Multi-Sensor Intelligent Acquisition
The platform supports rapid integration and synchronous control of professional surveying equipment including airborne LiDAR, oblique photography cameras, multispectral cameras, high-precision IMU and ground penetrating radar, realizing one pass, simultaneous multi-source data acquisition.
Based on the 3D boundary of the task area, the system automatically plans the optimal acquisition path and sensor parameters. It supports time-interval, distance-interval and fixed-point scanning modes, with fully automatic execution to reduce human intervention and ensure data quality and efficiency.
During operation, key indicators such as point cloud density, image overlap and POS data quality are transmitted in real time, supporting online quick preview and quality inspection. Problems can be adjusted immediately to avoid rework.
3. Full-Process Intelligent Data Processing
The robot’s built-in high-performance computing unit performs real-time preprocessing such as point cloud filtering and image stitching during acquisition, reducing back-end pressure and enabling real-time 3D scene reconstruction preview.
Collected data is automatically uploaded to a cloud processing platform. Using distributed computing and AI algorithms, it automatically completes point cloud denoising and classification, 3D reality model generation, DOM production, DEM extraction and other full-process processing.
It outputs industry-standard data products including LAS point clouds, OSGB/3DTiles models, DSM/DEM and TDOM, and supports seamless integration with BIM and GIS platforms for planning, engineering measurement, deformation monitoring and digital twin city construction.
II. Core Values
Comprehensive Improvement in Efficiency, Precision, Safety and Decision Support
1. Efficiency Revolution
Compared with manual surveying, the robot supports 7×24 hours uninterrupted operation, increasing daily data coverage by 5–10 times. The efficiency advantage is especially obvious in complex and dangerous areas. It greatly reduces field personnel, allowing one operator to remotely monitor multiple devices.
2. Upgraded Precision and Data Dimensions
It collects millimeter-level dense point clouds and high-resolution multi-angle images, fully recording terrain, landforms, features and hidden details with far richer data than traditional single-point measurement. The automatic process eliminates manual operation differences, ensuring uniform accuracy and data consistency over large areas.
3. Breakthrough in Safety and Accessibility
The robot replaces personnel to enter high-risk areas such as geological hazard zones, high slopes, polluted areas, enclosed spaces and high-risk construction sites, completely eliminating personal safety risks. It expands service capabilities and enables high-risk, high-difficulty surveying projects.
4. Cornerstone for Digital Transformation
It provides fast and economical regular resurvey and digital filing for parks, infrastructure and natural resources, serving as core data for digital twin construction. Precise spatiotemporal data supports quantitative analysis and scientific decision-making for project management, resource investigation, safety monitoring and urban planning.
