Micbot Debuts on West Lake National Day Security Frontline, Human-Robot Collaboration Safeguards Scenic Area Safety
During the National Day holiday, Micbot’s MOVENEW T1 wheeled quadruped robot was officially deployed at West Lake Scenic Area in Hangzhou. It collaborated with police officers from Yuemiao Police Station of West Lake Scenic Area Branch to conduct daily patrols and safety publicity. As an “AI Police Officer”, this robot with full-domain mobility performs intelligent inspection and anti-fraud publicity under a human-robot collaboration model, injecting technological momentum into scenic area security management.

During the National Day peak passenger flow period, the MOVENEW T1 wheeled quadruped robot achieved fully autonomous visual following, obstacle avoidance and obstacle crossing based on its multi-sensor fusion perception system. The robot can accurately recognize police officers’ postures and movement paths, and stably follow without remote control. In extremely dense crowds or visual occlusion scenarios, it can be assisted by a smart wristband for positioning to further adapt to complex movement demands.
Equipped with Micbot’s full-stack self-developed DynaCore Full-Body Motion Control System, the robot flexibly copes with variable terrains in the scenic area such as stone roads and arch bridges. Through HD cameras and a multi-modal sensing system, it transmits real-time on-site footage and environmental data, significantly expanding the monitoring scope of a single patrol and improving information collection efficiency.

In addition to routine inspections, the MOVENEW T1 wheeled quadruped robot uses its on-board broadcasting system to repeatedly play anti-fraud tips and safety information along patrol routes. Its innovative form and intelligent interaction have attracted great attention from tourists, effectively improving publicity reach and efficiency.
Police officers from Yuemiao Police Station stated: “The robot can autonomously plan paths and stably follow officers on duty in high-flow areas such as Bai Causeway. It not only eases holiday duty pressure but also enhances safety awareness of citizens and tourists through technological means.”

The deployment of the MOVENEW T1 wheeled quadruped robot in West Lake Scenic Area verifies the practicability and adaptability of intelligent mobile robots in high-passenger, high-mobility public scenarios. With 12-hour endurance and all-terrain passability, the robot provides continuous and reliable intelligent support for scenic area security.

In the future, Micbot will further cooperate with governments and institutions at all levels to explore innovative application paths of robots in urban public services, protect public security with advanced technology, and support the construction of smart cities.
