Young Minds Explore Technology, Together Toward the Future | Teachers and Students from Hong Kong KAI KEI School Visit Micbot
On March 30, organized by the Hangzhou Municipal United Front Work Department, a delegation of teachers and students from Hong Kong KAI KEI School visited Micbot to experience firsthand the cutting-edge appeal of embodied intelligent robots, embarking on a study and exchange activity that blends technology with interaction.
A representative from Micbot warmly welcomed the delegation and gave a brief introduction to the company’s new-generation product, the MOVENEW P2. The representative expressed hope that through hands-on experience, the children would gain a genuine sense of the strong momentum of technological development in mainland China and broaden their technological horizons. Technical staff demonstrated core functions of Juwel’s quadruped robots on-site, including biomimetic movement, autonomous obstacle avoidance, AI interaction, and all-terrain operation. They provided detailed explanations of the R&D principles behind the technology and answered the children’s questions in clear, easy-to-understand language.
During the product experience session, the Juwel quadruped robot became the center of attention, instantly sparking the children’s curiosity. Guided by staff, the students took turns interacting closely with the robot, manually controlling it to perform commands and experiencing the practical application of cutting-edge technology. This immersive study activity allowed the Hong Kong students to engage deeply with advanced technology, effectively igniting their interest in scientific exploration while bringing Hangzhou and Hong Kong closer together.
