Micbot's Quadruped Robot Serves Security Patrol at Qiantang Two Sessions
On February 3, the 6th Session of the 1st Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Qiantang District, Hangzhou kicked off ceremonially. Outside the venue, Micbot’s quadruped robot MOVENEW P1 stood out as a high-tech “special police dog”, patrolling with public security officers to provide all-round security and ensure the smooth running of the Two Sessions.
Prior to the event, police officers from Qiantang Public Security Bureau visited Micbot. Guided by the company’s technical team, they mastered the robot’s operation interface, programmed basic motion commands, and practiced route control repeatedly, laying a solid foundation for efficient on-site security operations.
As a new type of police equipment, robot dogs are becoming a key force in enhancing new-quality public security capabilities. Micbot focuses on special industrial scenarios, and its products have been widely used in public security inspection. Compared with conventional quadruped robots, Juwei’s robot dogs specialize in four-defense scenarios: anti-magnetic, explosion-proof, waterproof and anti-freeze. With a 400kg super load capacity, 12-hour ultra-long battery life and modular intelligent payloads, they are designed to replace humans in dangerous, harsh and complex environments.
Beyond public security, Juwei’s robots have been widely applied in high-value special industries including petroleum, coal, firefighting and emergency response. With strong all-terrain adaptability and precise environmental perception, they perform high-risk inspection, emergency material transportation and other critical tasks.
As a key local enterprise in Qiantang District, Micbot officially settled in Heda Robot Valley in January this year, following a nearly 100-million-yuan Series A financing. In the future, as a core chain enterprise in the embodied intelligence industry, Juwei will drive upstream and downstream partners to gather in the Robot Valley, helping Qiantang build a more complete embodied intelligence industrial ecosystem and accelerate its development into a global robot industry hub.
